SECTION 1: Time Slot Announcement
The problem: Until now, recipients often don't know when their packages will arrive. Delivery drivers stand in front of closed doors, and customers are dissatisfied because they couldn't plan around being home. This leads to more customer complaints.
The solution: With the new time slot announcement, recipients receive an accurate indication of when the package is expected to be delivered (e.g., between 3:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.).
The advantage: Customers can plan their day, are more likely to be home, and satisfaction increases for everyone involved.
SECTION 2: Tour Preparation Tasks
Before the tour starts, the following steps on the hand scanner are important:
Tour start and end: I indicate the start and end of my tour in the scanner.
Edit sequence: If necessary, I can adjust and edit the predefined tour sequence in the scanner.
Confirmation: I confirm my final tour sequence in the scanner before I drive off.
Support: The hand scanner offers completely new, optimized functions for preparation.
SEKTION 3: Regeln während der Tour
Einhaltung der Route: Es ist absolut wichtig, sich an die bestätigte Reihenfolge der Zustellstopps zu halten.
Ausnahmen: Eine Änderung der Reihenfolge ist nur dann kein Problem, wenn es sich um dieselbe Straße oder die unmittelbare Nachbarschaft (direkte Nähe) handelt.
Navigations-Support: Das eingebaute Navigationssystem zeigt dem Zusteller immer automatisch den korrekten nächsten Stopp an.
SECTION 4: What to Do and What to Avoid
What is good and right? (Allowed)
I confirm the sequence of stops before the tour starts and edit them beforehand, if necessary.
I drive first to the very first stop of the tour, exactly as the scanner prescribes.
I stick strictly to the given sequence (deviations in the immediate neighborhood are possible).
What causes problems? (Prohibited)
I confirm the tour sequence before the start, but then drive completely differently in reality.
I start the tour differently than planned – for example, at the end instead of the beginning (not as shown on the scanner).
I drive a completely arbitrary, different sequence during the tour.
