Preparation for handover: The first thing you must do when entering the Paketshop is to scan the Paketshop ID card (Paketshopausweis) with your scanner.
Important: Only after successfully scanning this card will the system allow the transfer and handover of packages.
Scanning on-site: Make sure to scan all delivery shipments for the current Paketshop inside the Paketshop itself. This prevents inventory discrepancies, complaints, reprocessing, and additional costs.
Damaged or unreadable barcode: If the scanner cannot read the code, use the manual entry function on the scanner to enter the shipment number.
Continuing the process: When you have scanned all delivery shipments, confirm the process by pressing the blue checkmark on the scanner.
After you have completed the handover, the scanner will ask if you want to take shipments from the Paketshop. This is done via a slider:
Slid to the left: „keine Sendungen mitnehmen“ (do not take shipments)
Slid to the right: „Sendungen mitnehmen“ (take shipments)
Scanning the QR code: After making the selection via the slider, scan the QR code of the Paketshop scanner.
Waiting for transfer: The subsequent data transfer takes a certain amount of time. During this transfer, the Paketshop scanner remains exclusively reserved for your current process and is not available to other drivers.
If you have chosen the option to take shipments, scan all shipments you are taking with you. These categories include:
Privatservice-Sendungen (Private shipments)
Retouren (Returns)
Rückläufer (Undelivered returns)
Sendungen mit abgelaufener Lagerfrist (Expired storage period shipments)
Ident Service fehlgeschlagen (Failed identity check)
Annahme verweigert (Refusal of acceptance)
Sendungen mit Coupon (Shipments with coupon)
TIP: If there are additional or old barcodes on the shipments, they must be crossed out or made unreadable.
After the scanning process, the accepted shipments will be displayed on the scanner. Completion is done by confirming with the blue checkmark.
What happens if the numbers do not match?
Grey-highlighted shipment numbers: This means these packages are missing from the physical handover. In this case:
Enter the barcode manually, or
Ask the Paketshop employee to check the handover again.
Unfindable shipments or issues with authorizations (Vollmachten): Use the shipment clarification function:
1st collection attempt: Shipment clarification (Sendungsklärung) is started.
2nd collection attempt: If the package is still missing, it is marked as "Shipment loss" (Sendungsverlust).
